Former ICW Champion Mike Monroe and former ICW You Tube Champion TC Read showed up on Impact Wrestling. Collectively known as TECH Squad, Monroe and Read have won championships in multiple companies, including ICW where they are former ICW United States Tag Team Champions.
ICW President Jorge Portuondo had the following to say: In 2009 I had the pleasure of being on the other side of the ring for TC Read’s debut. Read is an extremely passionate individual. He is constantly wanting to learn more and more even though he is one of the most versatile in ring performers in South Florida. His passion, knowledge, and dedication for the business have made him the top promoter in our region. His Ronin Pro Wrestling events are full of the best talent in the world. It is great to see Read succeed in this business, I know he will continue to make an Impact everywhere he goes.
It was at one of those Ronin events that I realized how talented Mike Monroe was. In a match with the Fan Boys, Monroe commanded the attention of the audience. Everything he did in the ring was crisp, snug, and high Impact. A few months after witnessing that match, he surprised everyone in the ICW Arena by defeating Jonny Vandal in the Finals of the tournament to crown the new ICW Champion. Monroe, known for his tag team prowess, was now on his way to becoming the top star in ICW. Taking on all comers and stealing the show every chance he got. Monroe is one of the most gifted wrestlers I have ever come across. It’s about time the world has a chance to see his talent.
